Waiver Policy

Jurnal Ilmiah dan Riset Akademik is committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent qualified researchers from publishing high-quality work. The journal therefore offers an Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver or discount for authors who demonstrate financial hardship.

Eligibility for Waiver

Authors may be eligible for a full or partial APC waiver if:

  • The corresponding author is from a low- or middle-income country (LMIC) with limited institutional funding.
  • The author is an independent researcher or graduate student without institutional funding support.
  • The manuscript has been accepted following rigorous peer review and the authors demonstrate genuine inability to pay.

How to Apply

  1. Authors must submit a waiver request letter to the editorial office at [email@domain.com] once their manuscript has been accepted.
  2. The request must include: the manuscript ID, the corresponding author's institution, country, and a brief explanation of financial circumstances.
  3. Decisions on waiver requests are made by the Editor-in-Chief and are final and confidential.

Note: Waiver requests do not influence the editorial or peer-review decision. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on scientific merit, regardless of the authors' financial situation.
