JRKBI: Jurnal Riset Kecerdasan Buatan dan Informatika applies a rigorous and transparent peer-review process to ensure the academic quality, originality, relevance, and scientific integrity of every manuscript considered for publication. The review process is conducted by qualified reviewers with appropriate expertise relevant to the subject matter of the submitted manuscript.
Each submitted manuscript first undergoes an initial editorial screening to assess its suitability with the journal's focus and scope, compliance with author guidelines, academic quality, and publication ethics requirements. Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements are then forwarded to qualified peer reviewers for further evaluation.
JRKBI applies a single-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of the reviewers are kept confidential from the authors. Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively, constructively, and independently. The review focuses on the originality and significance of the research, clarity of objectives, adequacy of methodology, accuracy and relevance of analysis, quality of discussion, validity of conclusions, appropriate use of references, and overall contribution to the field of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics.
Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of all information contained in the manuscripts they evaluate and must not use unpublished information for personal or professional advantage. Reviewers are also required to disclose any potential conflict of interest and should decline an assignment when they are unable to provide an impartial assessment. These principles are consistent with established ethical guidance for peer reviewers.
Based on the reviewers' evaluations and recommendations, the Editorial Board makes the final decision regarding the manuscript. Possible editorial decisions include Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject. When revisions are required, authors are expected to respond to reviewers' comments and revise their manuscripts accordingly. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation when considered necessary.
The final editorial decision is based on the overall quality and suitability of the manuscript and is not determined solely by a reviewer's recommendation. The Editorial Board reserves the right to request additional reviews or clarification when necessary to ensure a fair and well-supported editorial decision.
JRKBI is committed to maintaining a fair, confidential, timely, and academically rigorous peer-review process. The journal does not guarantee acceptance of submitted manuscripts, and editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, relevance, methodological quality, originality, and compliance with the journal's publication standards. This approach is intended to uphold the integrity and quality of the scholarly record.
