The JRKBI: Jurnal Riset Kecerdasan Buatan dan Informatika is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, and responsible scholarly communication in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics. The journal follows internationally recognized principles of publication ethics, including the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). This ethical policy applies to all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher. All manuscripts submitted to JRKBI must represent original scholarly work and must not contain plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, manipulation of research data, duplicate publication, or inappropriate citation practices.
Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their submitted manuscripts. Authors must provide accurate research data, appropriately acknowledge the contributions of other researchers, and cite all sources used in their work. Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to another journal or published previously in substantially similar form. Authors are also required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and obtain appropriate ethical approval when research involves human participants, personal data, or other ethically sensitive information. For research involving Artificial Intelligence and generative AI tools, authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the submitted manuscript and should transparently disclose substantive use of AI tools where applicable. AI tools cannot be listed as authors because authorship requires human accountability for the work. These principles are consistent with current scholarly publishing practices concerning transparency, research integrity, and responsible AI use.
Editors, reviewers, and the publisher are expected to maintain fairness, confidentiality, transparency, and independence throughout the editorial and peer-review process. Editors must evaluate manuscripts based on their academic quality, relevance, originality, and scientific contribution without discrimination or inappropriate influence. Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and confidential evaluations, disclose potential conflicts of interest, and must not use unpublished information from manuscripts for personal or professional advantage. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, citation manipulation, authorship misconduct, or other forms of research and publication misconduct. When allegations of misconduct arise, JRKBI will investigate them fairly and may take appropriate actions, including requesting corrections, rejecting manuscripts, issuing retractions, or publishing other necessary notices in accordance with applicable ethical standards and COPE guidance.
