Author Gudelines

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to Pijarwiyata: Jurnal Pendidikan must ensure full compliance with the following guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned before the review process.

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original works and must not have been previously published or currently under consideration elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English.
  • Word count: 5,000–10,000 words (including references, excluding tables and figures).
  • Submissions must be made through the journal's online submission system.
  • Authors are required to use the official Article Template.
  • Similarity index must be below 20% (checked via Turnitin).

2. Manuscript Formatting

Abstract length 150–250 words (in both Indonesian and English if article is in Indonesian)

Citation style APA 7th Edition (use Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote)
Minimum references 20 references (min. 80% from scientific journals, last 10 years)

3. Article Structure

  1. Title — Clear and concise, maximum 20 words
  2. Author(s) Name and Affiliation — Full name, institution, country, email, ORCID (if available)
  3. Abstract — 150–250 words; no citations; written in both languages if the article is in Indonesian
  4. Keywords — 3–6 terms, separated by semicolons
  5. Introduction — Background, problem statement, literature gap, novelty, and objective
  6. Method — Research design, data collection, instruments, and analysis approach
  7. Results and Discussion — Key findings, supported by data, compared with prior literature
  8. Conclusion — Summary of findings, implications, limitations, and future research
  9. Acknowledgment — (if applicable) funding sources, institutional support
  10. References — APA 7th Edition, minimum 20 references

4. Ethical Requirements

  • Authors must declare no conflict of interest or disclose any that exist.
  • Research involving human subjects must include ethical clearance information.
  • All authors listed must have contributed significantly to the manuscript.
  • Simultaneous submission to multiple journals is strictly prohibited.
